Biscuits with French Dip Flavor

These easy, hand-held sliders pack all the flavors of a traditional French Dip sandwich—juicy roast beef, gooey cheese, and rich au jus—wrapped inside a buttery, flaky biscuit.
French Dip–Style Biscuits
Ingredients:
| INGREDIENT | AMOUNT |
|---|---|
| Refrigerated biscuits (8-count) | 1 can (16.3 oz) |
| Thinly sliced deli roast beef | 1 pound |
| Creamy horseradish sauce | 2 tablespoons |
| Provolone cheese | 8 slices |
| Au Jus gravy mix | 1 packet (1 oz) |
Directions:
Step 1: Heat the Oven
Set your oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
Step 2: Prepare the Biscuits
Open the biscuit can and carefully slice each biscuit in half horizontally, creating 16 rounds. Spread the creamy horseradish sauce evenly on the cut sides of the biscuits, adding more or less depending on your taste preference.
Step 3: Assemble the Biscuits
Place one slice of provolone cheese on the bottom half of each biscuit, folding if needed. Add a portion of the roast beef, then top with the remaining biscuit halves to form small sandwiches.
Step 4: Bake
Lightly pinch the edges of the biscuit dough to seal everything inside. Arrange the biscuits on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Step 5: Prepare the Au Jus
While the biscuits bake, make the au jus using the packet directions, either on the stovetop or in the microwave.
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
Take the biscuits out of the oven and serve them hot with small bowls of au jus on the side for dipping.
