Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones
Ingredients:
Instructions:
- Prep the Filling: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a skillet, brown the 1 lb of ground beef. Drain any excess fat. Add the 6 crumbled slices of bacon, ½ cup of diced onions, ¼ cup of ketchup, ¼ cup of mayonnaise, ¼ cup of mustard, and salt & pepper to taste. Mix well to combine.
- Stuff the Tater Tots: Carefully hollow out the center of each of the 24 frozen tater tots to create a “cone.” Fill each tater tot cone with your cheeseburger mixture. Top each one with shredded cheddar cheese.
- First Bake: Place the stuffed tater tot cones on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tater tots are crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Create the Cheese Volcano: While the cones are baking, mix the leftover cheeseburger filling with the 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Once the cones are done with their first bake, pile the cheesy filling mixture on top of them to create the “cheese volcano.”
- Second Bake & Serve: Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the “cheese volcano” is bubbly and golden. Serve the cones hot and enjoy!
