“A quick, tasty, and easy grilled appetizer”

These cheesy, flavorful meatballs are made with a blend of savory seasonings, fresh herbs, and milk-soaked bread, lightly flattened, and topped with melted cheese for a delicious finish.
Ingredients:
- Minced meat (ground beef or your choice) – 500 g
- Garlic, chopped – 1 clove
- Shallot, chopped – 1
- Parsley, chopped – 1 tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce – 1 tsp
- Canned tomato paste – 1 tsp
- Bread crumbs soaked in milk – approx. 1/2 cup
- Grated cheese (to mix into meat) – 2 tbsp
- Salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, 5-berry mix, thyme – to taste
- Drizzle of oil (for mixing) – 1 good drizzle
Instructions:
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine minced meat, seasonings (salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, 5-berry mix, thyme), drizzle of oil, chopped garlic, chopped shallot, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, milk-soaked bread crumbs, and 2 tbsp grated cheese. Mix gently until combined.
- Shape Meatballs: Form the mixture into balls, then slightly flatten them into small patties (like thick mini burgers).
- Cook: Heat a mix of oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties until golden brown on both sides and cooked through (internal temp 160°F / 71°C).
- Add Cheese: Grate extra cheese on top of the meatballs at the end of cooking, cover briefly to melt, and serve hot.
