Cheesy Ravioli Lasagna

This speedy casserole captures all the classic flavors of lasagna by using frozen ravioli layered with marinara sauce and plenty of melty cheese.

Easy Ravioli Lasagna Bake

Ingredients:

Frozen cheese or beef ravioli (about 24 pieces)1 package
Marinara sauce (your favorite, 24 oz)1 jar
Shredded mozzarella cheese2 cups
Grated Parmesan cheese½ cup
Dried basil (optional)½ teaspoon
Dried oregano (optional)½ teaspoon
Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)As desired

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat Oven
Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2: Prepare Dish
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Start with Sauce
Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the dish to coat it.

Step 4: Add Ravioli
Place half of the frozen ravioli evenly over the sauce.

Step 5: Add More Sauce and Cheese
Pour about one-third of the marinara over the ravioli and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.

Step 6: Repeat Layers
Layer the remaining ravioli, sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Top with the grated Parmesan cheese.

Step 7: Optional Seasoning
If you like, sprinkle dried basil and oregano over the top layer of cheese.

Step 8: Cover and Bake
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes, until the ravioli is cooked and the cheese is melted.

Step 9: Uncover to Brown
Remove the foil and bake an extra 5–10 minutes to lightly brown the cheese.

Step 10: Cool and Serve
Let the lasagna rest a few minutes before serving, and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
