Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Flaky biscuits (such as Grands Jr) 2 (10-count) cans
Ground sausage (such as Tennessee Pride) 1 lb
Shredded cheddar cheese 2 cups

How To Make Easy Cheesy Sausage Biscuit Bites:

  1. Preheat Oven & Prep Sausage: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, gently mix the 1 lb of uncooked sausage and 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until well blended. Shape the mixture into 40 small balls of equal size.
  2. Prepare Biscuits: Remove the biscuits from the cans and separate each biscuit into two layers, which will give you a total of 40 layers. Press one layer of biscuit into each cup of a lightly greased mini-cupcake pan. Repeat with the remaining layers.
  3. Assemble & Bake: Place one of the sausage-cheese balls into each biscuit cup. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the biscuits are browned and the sausage balls are bubbly and cooked through.
