Cheesy Baked Onion Delights

These crispy, cheesy onion bites make the perfect appetizer — tender onion rings stuffed with gooey mozzarella, coated in a seasoned breadcrumb crust, and baked to golden perfection.

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray it with cooking spray.

Step 2: Fill the Rings
Gently separate the onion slices into rings. Place a mozzarella stick piece inside each ring, pressing gently so it fits snugly.

Step 3: Create the Breading Station
Set up three shallow bowls:

  • One with flour.
  • One with beaten eggs.
  • One with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Step 4: Coat the Rings
Dip each stuffed onion ring first in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure they’re well coated on all sides.
