How to Make Taco Stuffed Shells
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Boil the 8 oz jumbo pasta shells until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking.
Step 2: Preheat Oven & Brown Beef
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook 1 lb ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 3: Add Garlic
Stir in 1 tsp minced garlic and cook for 30 more seconds.
Step 4: Make the Filling
Add the taco seasoning, 5 oz cream cheese, and 1/4 cup salsa to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese melts and the mixture is smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
Step 5: Stuff Shells & Bake
Fill each cooked pasta shell with the beef mixture. Place the stuffed shells in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup shredded taco blend cheese and bake 15–20 minutes, until bubbly and melted.
Step 6: Garnish & Serve
Top with 1/4 cup chopped green onions and serve warm.
