Oven-Baked Cheesy Potato Wedges
Ingredients:
- Large russet potatoes – 4
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder – 1 teaspoon
- Paprika – 1 teaspoon
- Salt and pepper – to taste
- Shredded cheddar cheese – 1 cup
- Shredded mozzarella cheese – 1/2 cup
- Fresh thyme leaves – 1 tablespoon
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Prepare Potatoes
Wash and scrub the potatoes, then cut each into 8 wedges lengthwise.
Step 3: Season Wedges
In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Step 4: Bake Wedges
Arrange the wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Step 5: Add Cheese
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the cheddar and mozzarella evenly over the wedges.
Step 6: Melt Cheese
Return to the oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
